N.Solomon — The Comeback Story
I met this athlete during a U17–U23 academy session in Long Beach. He went in for a shot block, and just like that, his knee gave out. You could feel the silence — not just from the injury, but from a deeper truth: his body wasn’t ready for the demands of the game. He had never done any strength and conditioning before, and you could see it. I stayed in touch with him throughout his recovery and gently introduced him to the idea that S&C isn’t just about performance — it’s about protection, longevity, and ownership of your body. He was hesitant at first. This work is hard, and not everyone wants to do it. But something clicked. As we focused on core strength, stability, and the small things that matter — he started to change. The way he moved, the way he thought, the way he showed up. I’ll never forget when he looked at me and said, ‘I’ve never done stuff like this,’ smiling like he finally saw the path. Today, he trains with purpose, and every session brings him one step closer to chasing his dream of playing professionally. Watching him turn a setback into a comeback has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey as a coach.
J.Bagley — The Dedicated D1 Dreamer
I’ve known this athlete since my youth club days in Pasadena. He was younger, smaller, and still fearless — never backing down from contact, even against older players. That attitude stuck with me. Years later, when I became a strength and conditioning coach, we reconnected — and it just made sense to work together. Jasper had some exposure to S&C before, but not in a way that helped him truly understand its purpose. What’s been special is mentoring him through that shift — helping him connect the work in the gym to how he moves, competes, and endures on the field. He’s one of the most dedicated athletes I’ve ever worked with. From day one, he’s brought energy, curiosity, and a hunger to grow. Now, he’s thriving in my program — not just training harder, but training smarter. He’s fully embracing the process, and as he sets his sights on walking on at a top Division 1 university, I have no doubt he’ll get there. His drive, paired with this new foundation, is going to take him far.
C.Tapia: The College Center Back — Building Strength Into Movement
I met this athlete at a U17–U23 academy session in Long Beach. At the time, he was already playing for one of the top JUCO programs in SoCal — a solid center back, 6'3", strong on the ball, and recently signed to a top Division 2 school. What stood out to me wasn’t what he had — it was what he could unlock. He had raw power, but his movement didn’t fully reflect it. That’s where I came in. We focused heavily on plyometrics and stability — the kind of work that helps an athlete not just build force, but control and transfer it. I explained that stability is the bridge between strength and agility, and once he started applying that concept, things began to change. Like many of the athletes I work with, he told me, 'I’ve never done exercises like this before.' That’s a pattern I’m seeing — talented players lacking exposure to the right type of training. I’ve been there too. Now, I’m committed to bridging that gap — giving athletes not just a program, but the understanding they’ve been missing. Watching this athlete grow into his frame and refine his game has been a privilege
These aren’t just workouts — they’re transformations. Each athlete I work with comes in at a different point in their journey, but they all share one thing: the desire to level up. Here’s how we’ve built strength, confidence, and performance together.
What My Athletes say
“Training with Andrew made me realize how much strength and stability I was missing.”
“Before this, I was just doing random workouts. Now everything connects to how I play.”
“I feel faster, stronger, and more confident on the field.”
